ShuRoo - Testimonial one
“In 2004 at our ARG Kalgoorlie depot, we had 23 kangaroo incidents creating problems. In 2005, ARG installed the Shu-Roo system into 16 vehicles with immediate effect, for the remainder of 2005 we recorded one kangaroo incident. This reduced our downtime by 95% but more importantly, our employees are driving in a safer vehicle. In September 2005, ARG’s Occupational Health and Safety department completed a driver safety analysis with results clearly showing the benefits of the ShuRoo electronic vehicle protection system. A decision was made by ARG to roll out the installation of the Shu-Roo system throughout our vehicle fleet during 2006-2007; we currently have 74 vehicles fitted with the ShuRoo system.”

“Currently we have 140 sedans and station wagons fitted and in the last 12 months we have maintained the 70% reduction (in animal strikes) achieved in the first 2 years. The financial savings far outweighs the cost of installing ShuRoos on Hydro Tasmania vehicles.”
ShuRoo - Testimonial three
“We have fitted at least 10 ShuRoos. Prior to fitting, each car was suffering at least two or three and up to five roo strikes. Since fitting ShuRoo, the rate is now less than one strike per vehicle. This has resulted in an enormous saving both financially and in downtime”.

“We have a number of school buses, some of which are on bush tracks early in the morning and at dusk. These runs were notorious for encounters with roos, and with a full load of school children it creates a very dangerous situation. Since we have had ShuRoos fitted to all our buses, we have not encountered a single roo”.
ShuRoo - Testimonial five
“We have had ShuRoo fitted to a variety of our vehicles for the last two years. During this period these vehicles have traveled more than 500,000 kilometres between them. The accident rate for these vehicles has been reduced by 70%, but more importantly the dollar value of each accident has reduced by 90%”.

Greetings ShuRoo people, As a happy shuroo user in the central tablelands of NSW I would like to thank you for your product and pass on some feedback I have received from overseas people from websites I am a member of. Since I fitted the shuroo to the motorbike I have noticed the extra time you get to react because the roos are already running by the time you see them. Having hit one in the past I know what its like when they jump right in front of you out of the bushes and weeds on the roadside. Its 2/3 narrow bitumen and 1/3 dirt track where I live and its infested with roos.

I'm very happy with your product. I've seen no signs of cats in my back garden since I installed it and next door's cat isn't on my front drive much anymore either. This cat [and maybe others] used to jump onto my roof from the front garden wall and cross over to the back. This activated the front security lights, but this isn't happening much now either, so it looks like I've got the result I wanted.

“We live on the south west coast of WA on about 10 acres of natural bush. We’ve established a large garden around our house, but have had enormous problems with possums coming in and destroying our roses and fruit trees by eating off all the new leaves. We heard about the ShuRoo StrayBan units last year, and initially tried two to see how effective they are. We used one on a mulberry tree and a mango tree – both of which were being systematically destroyed by possums. We found that it worked immediately, and in a few weeks both trees had recovered and had begun to resume normal growth. We now have six units in operation, including coverage of our rose garden which now appears to be essentially free of possum damage. The units have been a highly satisfactory alternative to all previous attempts to control possums, which included continual spraying, and trapping and relocation of the creatures.

I have had my Stray-Ban possum deterrent for a couple of months now and I’m very pleased with the results. It protects my delicate bonsai plants that were having the new spring shoots eaten as soon as they appeared and from the accompanying damage of broken branches, broken as the possum climbed, destroying years of training. I was concerned that my pet cat would be upset by the noise that the unit makes, but she is not the least affected. I will be putting another unit up to protect my Magnolias, camellias and Maples in the main garden now that I know how well they work.
